UN Planning Mission visits ICC Kyoto, the venue of the Kyoto Congress

From July 11th to 14th, the UN Planning Mission visited Kyoto International Conference Center(ICC Kyoto), the venue of the Kyoto Congress, and discussed the current preparation status for the Kyoto Congress with the Japanese government, Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City and ICC Kyoto.

Site visit (1)
The UN Planning Mission team and the officials from the Japanese government, Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City and the ICC Kyoto undertook an initial site visit to the conference halls including the Main Hall which will be used for the Plenary Meeting, and conference halls which will be used for Committee Meetings.

Site visit (2)
The Planning Mission team also examined the traffic line of participants from the entrance gate to the main conference halls and other relevant meeting rooms.

Following the site visits, the Planning Mission team and relevant counterparts of the government reviewed the current status of preparation and exchanged views on future plans including the Youth Forum.
