Summary of minutes

  Members discussed issues for reforming the Civil Code (law of obligations) based on Materials No.45 (distributed at the 55th meeting) and No.49 (distributed at the 60th meeting). Concrete issues discussed are as follows.

  1  “Automatic reduction of the rent” among “Regulations of cases when the whole or a part of the subject matter is unavailable” (Material No. 45, Part I, 7 (2)(a)).

  2  “Cancellation due to impossibility to achieve the purpose of the lease” among “Regulations of cases when the whole or a part of the subject matter is unavailable” (Material No. 45, Part I, 7(2)(b)).
