An explanation meeting was held for prospective exhibitors at the Kyoto Congress (30 January 2020)

On Thursday, 30 January 2020, an explanation meeting was held at the Ministry of Justice for prospective exhibitors of the Kyoto Congress. A total of 74 people from 35 corporations and organizations that might exhibit at the Kyoto Congress attended the meeting.

At the outset, Ms. SHIBATA Noriko, the Director of the International Affairs Division, Minister's Secretariat, Ministry of Justice, delivered her greeting, and then officials of the Ministry of Justice provided an overview of the Kyoto Congress, explained details relevant to exhibitors, and responded to questions from representatives of corporations and organizations. Furthermore, officials from the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Thailand attended in a separate room, where they were provided with an explanation that was done through an interpreter.

The Kyoto Congress will showcase the advanced security technology of corporations and organizations and their approaches to achieving the SDGs. The Ministry of Justice will do its utmost to support all exhibitors, and it looks forward to demonstrating Japan's efforts to maintain a safe and secure society to the world.
