Exhibition on Arbitration held at the “Justice Affairs Diplomacy” Ministerial Forum (July 6-7, 2023).

The Ministry of Justice of Japan (MoJ Japan) held the Exhibition entitled “Why Arbitrate in Japan?” at the “Justice Affairs Diplomacy” Ministerial Forum from July 6 to 7, 2023.
The Exhibition was co-hosted by the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA) and the Japan International Dispute Resolution Center (JIDRC), and supported by the Academy for International Business Transactions, Vis Japan Steering Committee （AIBT）, C.I.Arb. East Asia Branch, Intercollegiate Negotiation Competition （INC）, and Japan Association of Arbitrators (JAA).
The MoJ Japan and the JIDRC promoted the recent update of Japan’s arbitration legislation in 2023 and made presentations on training programs for well-experienced arbitrators and other legal professionals, including joint training programs for legal professionals and mock arbitration competitions for students provided in Japan through oral presentations, posters, slides and flyers.
The JCAA explained the strengths of JCAA arbitration – diversity, agility, and flexibility – and highlighted JCAA as a trusted global dispute resolution service provider, including for users in G7 and ASEAN countries.
The Exhibition gathered attention from a wide range of participants such as professionals in the field of arbitration, heads of delegations (HoDs) and students. The materials of the Exhibition are the following:
