Courtesy Visit to the Minister of Justice by Ms. Ghada Fathi Waly Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

　On July 5, 2024, Minister KOIZUMI Ryuji received a courtesy visit by Ms. Ghada Fathi Waly, Executive Director of UNODC.

　Minister KOIZUMI welcomed Ms. Ghada Fathi Waly and exchanged their views on the outcomes of the Justice Affairs Diplomacy Ministerial Forum held in 2023 and the Kyoto Congress held in 2021. In addition, both sides affirmed to strengthen cooperation in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice, through the exchange of experts between the Ministry of Justice of Japan and the UNODC.
