The third meeting of the “Anti-Corruption Task Force for Ukraine” was held in 6 and 7 November, 2024.
The Ministry of Justice of Japan held the third meeting of the “Anti-Corruption Task Force for Ukraine” (ACT for Ukraine) in Tokyo on 6-7 November.
The Task Force is a platform for exchanging information on G7 countries and international organizations' anti-corruption support projects in Ukraine, identifying issues to be addressed and discussing countermeasures. The Ministry of Justice of Japan serves as the Secretariat of the Task Force.
The Task Force had held two online meetings with experts from G7 countries, judicial authorities in Ukraine and international organizations such as the United Nations to discuss assistance in the fight against corruption in Ukraine. The third meeting was the first in-person meeting where interactive discussions were held with the aim of formulating an effective anti-corruption support programs and avoiding duplication of support programs.
