Courtesy Visit to the Minister of Justice by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

　On 20 October 2026, Mr. YAMASHITA Takashi, Minister of Justice of Japan, received a courtesy visit by H.E. Mr. Barham Salih, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
 
　Minister YAMASHITA and High Commissioner Salih exchanged views on strengthening cooperative relationships between the Immigration Services Agency of Japan and UNHCR.
