Justice Minister Received Courtesy Call from Ambassador-Designate of the United States of America to Japan
On February 8, 2022, Minister Furukawa received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Rahm Emanuel, Ambassador-Designate of the United States of America to Japan.
Minister Furukawa congratulated Ambassador Emanuel on his appointment and discussed the importance of continuing to strengthen coordination between both countries to contribute to international peace and prosperity based on shared values and principle, such as the “rule of law” and “respect for fundamental human rights.” They also confirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation on issues related to economic security.
