Justice Minister held a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan

　On March 11, 2022, Minister Furukawa held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Sergiy Korsunsky, Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan.

　During the meeting, Minister Furukawa and Ambassador Korsunsky observed a moment of silence to show respect to the Ukrainian people who lost their lives due to the Russian invasion and to the victims of the Great East Japan earthquake, which occurred on this day 11 years ago.
　Minister Furukawa conveyed to Ambassador Korsunsky that the Ministry of Justice will lend its support to Ukraine in response to the ongoing situation and also stated his strong commitment as Minister of Justice to work in unity with Ukraine.
　Ambassador Korsunsky welcomed the support and expressed his gratitude.
