State Minister of Justice of Japan Meets with the Ambassador of Lao People’s Republic to Japan
State Minister of Justice TSUSHIMA Jun met with H.E. Mrs. Phongamouth ANLAVAN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Japan at the Ministry of Justice on July 7, 2022 (Thursday).
State Minister Tsushima is to visit Lao People’s Democratic Republic to meet with key government officials to call for the participation of high-level representatives from Lao People’s Democratic Republic to the Japan-ASEAN Special Meeting of Justice Ministers scheduled for next year. Accordingly, the State Minister officially requested the Ambassador Phongamouth to provide support for the Special Meeting to be held.
The State Minister and the Ambassador confirmed the importance of further strengthening the partnership between the two countries in the legal and judicial fields.
