Minister of Justice Receives a Courtesy Call from the Ambassador of the United States of America to Japan
On August 25, 2022, Minister of Justice Mr. HANASHI Yasuhiro received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Rahm Emanuel, Ambassador of the United States of America to Japan.
Minister Hanashi welcomed Ambassador Emanuel, and expressed his gratitude for congratulations offered to him by the Ambassador, on assuming the office as the Minister of Justice. In addition, the Minister and the Ambassador confirmed that based on fundamental values such as the “rule of law” and “respect for fundamental human rights”, coordination between both countries will be further strengthened.
