Minister of Justice Had Working Lunch with the President of the International Criminal Court (ICC)
On October 21, 2022, Mr. HANASHI Yasuhiro, Minister of Justice had working lunch with H.E. Judge Piotr Hofmański, President of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Minister Hanashi welcomed President Hofmański visiting Japan, and expressed his appreciation for the Agreement on Cooperation between the United Nations Asia and Far East Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (UNAFEI) and the ICC signed by both parties. In addition, Minister Hanashi and President Hofmański confirmed that they would continue to work closely to further strengthen cooperation between Japan and the ICC, and to further enhance the rule of law in the international community.
