Courtesy Visit to the Minister of Justice by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

　On December 23, 2022, Mr. SAITO Ken, Minister of Justice received a courtesy visit by H.E. Mr. Vladimir Imamovich Norov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Mr. ITO Tadahiko, Chair of Standing Committee on Judicial Affairs, House of Representatives joined the ministers’ meeting.
 
　Minister Saito welcomed Minister Norov, and expressed his gratitude for congratulations offered to him, on assuming the office of Minister of Justice. In addition, they confirmed that they would work together to further deepen the cooperative relationship between Japan and Uzbekistan, which is an important partner of Japan, sharing the fundamental values.
