“How international arbitration and mediation works in Korea and Japan? ” was held during the Seoul ADR Festival 2025 (27 October 2025).

　As part of efforts to promote international arbitration and mediation, the Ministry of Justice of Japan (MOJJ) held an international arbitration and mediation event on 27 October 2025 in Seoul co-hosted by the Ministry of Justice of Korea and supported by the Embassy of Japan in Korea and JETRO. Approximately 30 participants including in-house lawyers and arbitration practitioners from 12 countries participated in the event.

　In the event, the MOJJ and the Ministry of Justice of Korea shared their efforts to promote international arbitration and mediation respectively. In a panel discussion, Ms. Nakahara Chié, Attorney-at-Law and three speakers from Korea and United States, took the stage to share best practices and discuss how two countries could work together to promote international arbitration and mediation.
