When the information registered in the commercial register and listed in a certificate have been changed and the new information have been registered, a related certificate shall be revoked and a new certificate shall be issued. Through this service, reliability of the authentication service will be enhanced and the burden imposed upon the subscribers, who must make applications for registration of alterations and alterations of information concerning electronic authentication, will be lightened.

Details of operations are as follows.

1. When registration of resignation or dismissal of a director whose key has been registered or registration of dissolution or bankruptcy of the company be applied for, a registrar of a registry shall handle the application for registration and notify the registration to the Certification Center. A registrar of the Certification Center shall revoke the certificate by recording the certificate in the Revoked Certificate File.
2. When both application for registration of alteration of the company name, the name or the seat of head office or main office and application for alternation of a certificate are made, a registrar of a commercial registry shall process the application for registration and transmit information necessary to prepare an updated certificate in which information based on the updated commercial register is listed. A registrar of the Certification Center shall record a previously issued certificate in the Revoked Certificate File and issue an updated certificate. An updated certificate shall be recorded in the Certification File and be delivered to an applicant through the same procedure in the case of i.

   On the other hand, when only application for registration of alteration of the contents of the commercial register is made and application for alteration of a certificate is not made, a registrar of a commercial registry shall handle the application for registration and notify the alteration to the Certification Center. A registrar of the Certification Center shall revoke the certificate by recording a previous certificate in the Revoked Certificate File.
