State Minister of Justice’s Visit to the Republic of Poland
Mr. MITANI Hidehiro, the State Minister of Justice, following the visit to Ukraine, visited the Republic of Poland on July 22 and 23, 2026. During the visit, State Minister Mitani met with H.E. Mr. Czesław Mroczek, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior and Administration and H.E. Ms. Maria Ejchart, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Justice, and visited the Poland Office of International Organization for Migration (IOM) and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representation in Poland.
State Minister MITANI exchanged views in the meetings, with H.E. Mr. Czesław Mroczek on support for people who had fled the war in Ukraine, and with H.E. Ms. Maria Ejchart on each country’s efforts to support Ukraine as well as the use of AI in the field of law and justice.
