To the foreign nationals for whom the valid period of the certificate of eligibility has elapsed
Foreign nationals will be able to continue to use their certificate of eligibility as a valid certificate even after the elapse of the valid period (three months).
In cases where a foreign national, for whom the valid period of the certificate of eligibility (three months) has elapsed owing to the occurrence of the Earthquake(on March 11), files an application in order to acquire a visa or files an application for landing and it is confirmed from evidentiary documents and materials that changes have not been made to the eligibility for the status of residence, such certificate shall be treated as a valid certificate.
