The Women’s Association for Rehabilitation Aid (WARA) will hold a Koto performance.
The Koto is a traditional Japanese stringed instrument that has long been enjoyed mainly by the aristocracy and wealthy citizens. It has a long history and is still a popular instrument among Japanese.
The WARA is a volunteer organization that aims to raise awareness for the prevention of crime and delinquency in the local community, to assist in the sound development of youth, and to cooperate in the rehabilitation of those who have committed crimes or delinquent acts.
Please enjoy the delicate and beautiful tone of Koto!
