If necessary to request child support, you can obtain a copy of the address history attached to the family register or a copy of the residence certificate of the other party. This allows you to know the other party's place of domicile on the resident record. For more information, please contact your city/town office.

If the other party does not live in the place of domicile on the resident record, and you do not know any other address or location to serve, there may be a way to make a petition for Adjudication of Domestic Relations and proceed with the proceedings under the system of service by publication.
